CASE NUMBER 2000-10309
I am acting as the litigation guardian for my 4 year old son for whom my wife and I purchased a tricycle from a large, well known retailer. My son rode the tricycle three times wearing long pants without incident. The first time he rode the trike wearing shorts, however, I noticed a large trail of blood flowing down his leg. I immediately ran to him and lifted him off the bike and saw a two inch gash on the back of his thigh, apparently caused by sharp threads on a protruding bolt used to secure the handle bars. I am seeking on my son's behalf compensatory and punitive damages for his pain and suffering.

Sept. 1995 our divorce was final. We decided through mediation that we agreed on Joint Custody. My son went with his father and my daughter went with me. No child support was awarded due to each having a child. After 3years my son came to live with me due to physical abuse by the father. In mediation on Jan 1999, father agreed to pay child support of $75.00 per week. He has paid $675.00 to date. He has also not had contact with the children in the last 1 1/2 years. I want to sue for full custody, back child support, and abandonment.

Our landlord has withheld an excessive amount of money from our Security Deposit after we moved out. Plus during the two years that we lived in the house, we did not have full use of the master bathroom because promised repairs were never made. We are asking for our full deposit of $1050 plus a retroactive rent decrease of a $100 per month for 18 months back.

Since there are other cases here involving condo liens, this is mine. I am a lien company/collection agency. My basic function is to lien delinquent unit owners when they don't pay, and try to collect for an association. I was hired by a condo management company to lien three units in a complex. They have not paid me for my services. In another case mentioned here in icourthouse, it appears as though that lien company did get paid. I have not.

On 6/25/00 I rented a U-Haul truck that on the truck itself said air conditioning. Inside the U-Haul office it also advertised as air conditioned. It was driven 305.5 miles. Upon its return I was notified, by the driver, that there was no air conditioning. The general manager would not hive me the owner's name or corporation contact person. The total fee for this truck including milage was 191.95. The manager took 10.00$ off= 181.95. The manager stated "if I had known how far you were going I'd have given you a truck with air conditioning. This man knowingly rented me the truck without air conditioning. This is false advertisement.

In November of 1999, my condo association filed a delinquent assessment lien against my property. At the time, they claim I owed them two months of association dues, a one-time special assessment and some past legal fees and collection costs. I hired an attorney to handle negotiations with their collection representative, and he negotiated a payment in full, resulting in a removal of the lien. I think I overpaid, and I am suing the association (only) to get some of the money back.
