CASE NUMBER 2005-11272
I used to live in a corner house that was precariously set between a residential road and a main street. One night, there was a police chase near my house. Unfortunately, the police chase went awry and the car being pursued crashed into and destroyed one part of my house when attempting to take a turn onto the residential street. The police department admitted that the accident could have been avoidable, so we are pursuing a lawsuit, sueing for the amount in property damage.

I was hit by a car while riding my bike. I was crossing a street at an intersection and a car runs its stop sign at that intersection and hits the side of my bike. The driver saw me at the last second and slammed on her brakes, but she still managed to hit my back wheel and leg, which caused me to fall. There were no damages done to me, but the frame and wheel of my bike were seriously bent. This cost me $100 in total damages.

I have been taking walks every morning before I go to work for the past 25 years. While I was walking one morning, I was attacked by a vicious dog which belonged to a neighbor that had moved in recently. His german shepherd knocked me to the ground and bit my right hand several times. Both my tailbone and right hand were fractured. As a result I am unable to sit down, go to work, or cook for myself. The defendant is at fault for not ensuring that the dog was not restrained, and I am suing for the medical bills and emotional distress.

CASE NUMBER 2005-11268
In a crowded football stadium, as I was making my way up the stairs when I slipped upon a empty water bottle. I fell back and landed on my tailbone and the lower portion of my back that ended up fracturing my tailbone thus preventing me from sitting down due to the immense pain. I can't do to work anymore since I need to use the computer and cannot even sit up to use it. It is the stadium owner's fault that this incident happened as if they enforced better ways of lessening the crowd as people made it to their seats and provided better clean up services, none of this would have happened. I am suing the stadium owner for emotional distress and my medical bills.

My name is Ms. Nu. I was scheduled to have a brain surgery for the removal of a brain tumor. The tumor was growing on the left side of my brain. On the day of my surgery, with my consent, the nurse started to inject me with anesthesia. Then, she nurse asked me to sign some customary forms, regarding liability. I felt sleepy already, so I signed it quickly and gave it back to her. Then, some doctors came in. They were asking for one Ms. Sha, but I don’t know if I responded. The next thing I know is that the operation is over, and I eagerly waited for good news. However they (the doctors) came in to tell me that they operated on the wrong side of my brain thinking I was different patient. I am suing for medical malpractice for $2 million.
